BLACKFEET NATION ELK AND BLACK BEAR COMBINATION PERMIT
The Blackfeet Indian Reservation is located in north central Montana and encompasses approximately 1,525,000 acres that are bordered on the west by Glacier National Park, on the north by Alberta, Canada, and by the Lewis and Clark National Forest on the southwest. This year the Blackfeet Fish and Wildlife Department is proud to offer a bull elk and black bear combination permit to be used during the entire 2012 hunting season which starts in early September and runs through the first week in December.  In addition, the successful bidder may hunt during archery or rifle season in the exclusive Boulder/Flattop area which is known to produce 400+ inch trophy bull elk and abounds with black bears.  The hunter is responsible for hiring a licensed Blackfeet Tribal outfitter in addition to lodging and transportation expenses.  Revenue generated from the sale of this combination permit will be used to further conservation efforts of fish and wildlife resources on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.
