Donation: 12-day Dall’s sheep hunt for 1 hunter and 1 non-hunter. Tag & license are not included.
Dates: August 10-21, 2013 or 2014. Contact outfitter for exact dates.
Additional hunters: Contact donor for availability.
Location: MacKenzie Mountains, NWT.
Amenities not included: Species license fees of $200 each, government export fees of $400 per species.
Additional fees: The purchaser will be responsible for the charter fee of $1,100 per person for the round trip charter flight between Norman Wells to base camp. Purchaser is also responsible for guide and camp staff gratuities.
Accommodations & Transportation: The hunt starts and ends from the Palmer Lake base camp and includes a private cabin with power and hot showers. Hunting will be done from tent camps.
Special note: Winner of the 2012 Frank Golata “Outfitter of the Year” award, Harold Grinde has been a long time supporter of WSF and is happy to include a non-hunting companion. Plan on bringing a spouse or child and introduce them to the world of sheep hunting. The purchaser has the option of adding a caribou for just the $4,000 trophy fee.
