This sculptural representation of the Nevada State record desert bighorn sheep was created by world renowned taxidermist and artist, Mike Boyce, and fully donated to FNAWS in February of 1999. The proceeds are to be a part of the Foundations' "New Beginnings Capital Campaign" to establish a trust fund that will guarantee the Foundation's mission on behalf of the wild sheep of North America in perpetuity. An outstanding contributor, the late Dan Pocapalia originally purchased this work of art for $25,000 and then donated it back to the WSF to be used as a continual fund-raising tool. Each year it is re-auctioned with the successful bidder's receiving a 1/4 size replica of the bronze. The generous bidders name is placed on the original bronze. We honor Dan Pocapalia for his many years of support and dedication to the Foundation. He will truly be missed by us all.
100% of the proceeds generated from this donation benefit the WSF Endowment Fund.
