DONATION: This special Altai Argali Conservation tag will fund on the ground conservation of this species in Mongolia. Mongolia is offering for the first time, a Conservation Permit for 1- Altai argali for the 2020 hunting season. The proceeds from this sale will go to support scientifically sound population surveys and habitat conservation actions in Mongolia. Mongolia and WSF are currently working to develop a Memorandum of Understanding that will solidify collaborative conservation actions for Altai argali into the future. Under WSF’s Central Asia Conservation Strategy, Mongolia represents an essential part of Central Asia in wild sheep and wild goat conservation. We are excited and honored that Mongolia is joining efforts with WSF in working towards Central Asia Caprinae conservation. Like our North American conservation programs, your sponsorship payment for this new Central Asia conservation program via WSF funds are considered a charitable contribution for US citizens.
