5-DAY WATERFOWL (DUCK AND GROUSE COMBO) HUNT FOR 1 HUNTER IN ONTARIO

Description: Kap River Outfitters is donating is a 5-day duck and grouse combo hunt over retrievers and pointing dogs in Kapuskasing, Ontario for 1 hunter. If our hunter has their own retriever and or pointing dog they are encouraged to bring it along. Bring more hunters and have a lot of fun!
DATES: Schedule for 2022 or 2023 season.
ADDITIONAL HUNTERS: Welcome for $2,000.
ADDITIONAL NON-HUNTERS: Welcome for $1,000 per week.
AMENITIES INCLUDED: Lodging, meals, guides with retrievers and pointing dogs are provided.
AMENITIES NOT INCLUDED: Purchaser is responsible for transportation to and from the hunting area. The closest commercial airport is in Timmins, Ontario (approx. 100 miles from Kapuskasing) where clients can rent a puck up or SUV. Airport pick up and return is available at $500. License fee of $150
LOCATION: Kapuskasing, Ontario
ACCOMMODATION: Lodge with 8 rooms & 4 baths…with home-style dinners.
SPECIAL NOTE: Peter hunts ducks and geese in large rice bays on the famous Kapriver, the 1st staging area for birds coming off James Bay. The numerous lakes and rivers in this part of Northern Ontario also have plenty of wild rice which attract and hold large numbers of blacks and mallards and many other species such as widgeon, teal, pintail woodies, etc. There are plenty of divers, ring bill lesser scaup, golden eye etc. We also hunt local grain fields. The Kapuskasing area, with its mixed forests of pine, birch and aspen are perfect for excellent numbers of grouse as well as sharp tail and spruce grouse. Expect 7 to 10 flushes an hour on average!
