The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission selected WSF to auction the 2022 Montana bighorn sheep license. The 2022 Montana bighorn sheep license will be valid for one legal or larger male mountain sheep in any of the
legally described 2022 bighorn sheep hunting districts during their respective
open seasons during 2021. The license may not be transferred except: The
successful bidder may transfer the license to one individual, qualified to
hunt, by designating such individual on an affidavit provided by Montana Fish,
Wildlife and Parks, or its agent to the successful bidder immediately following
the auction. The designee must be legally able to be licensed under current
Montana statutes. The completed and signed affidavit of the designee must be
sent by certified mail by the successful bidder to Montana Fish, Wildlife &
Parks within 5 working days of the auction. In addition, if because of
verifiable serious illness or death, the successful bidder or his/her designee
is unable to hunt, the license may be
DATES: September 15 – November 27, 2022. Archery Season is - September 5 - 14, 2022
