DONATION: From the personal collection of Karl and Louise Lansing...we bring you a framed print of the famous Vivi Crandall’s - I.R.S. “Irate Raging Sow” signed and numbered 341/940 in 1998. Vivi Crandall was known for her dramatic, action-filled paintings of animals in western landscape. Like this sow, all Vivi’s painting came to life as though they were a photograph with every detail being so exact. Vivi painted and established herself in the art market as a wildlife artist, a subject she studied continually in her guide activities. Her paintings are owned around the world by collectors and her limited-edition prints are still carried in over 300 galleries. What she was most proud of, though, was that her artwork raised over a million dollars for wildlife causes. One of those paintings called “Eye of the Storm” fetched an astounding price of $105,000 during a WSF (FNAWS) Convention in the mid 1990’s. Sadly, Vivi succumbed to melanoma when she was only 56 years old but her spirit lives on through her incredible work.
