DONATION: What a great opportunity to be a part of the 15th Annunal Ice Fishing Derby in Meeteetse, Wyoming! This trip is for a team of 3 people that will compete for a cash purse (1st, 2nd, or 3rd place) with approximately 125 other teams on the Sunshine Reservoir.
DATES: Schedule this trip for February 3rd - 5th, 2023. Cannot be delayed.
ADDITONAL ANGLERS: Not available
ADDITIONAL NON-ANGLERS: $100 per person.
AMENITIES INCLUDED: Three days of winter fun! Entry fee into the derby, cabin stay in Meeteetse, insulated ice hut, heaters, ice auger, fish finder, camp chairs, sled, fishing poles (unless you have your own) and some rigging will be provided.
AMENITIES NOT INCLUDED: Transportation to and from Meeteetse, Wyoming and dining out. Warm clothing and ice cleats are a must as we walk out to our fishing spots.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Your stay will be on the beautiful Greybull River in a cabin at the Oasis Motel & RV Park (cabin sleeps 4). Located 85 miles from Yellowstone Park, the Oasis is the perfect place for rest and rejuvenation. It is a budget-friendly environment and proximity to great restaurants and attractions makes it easy to enjoy the best of Meeteetse. Owner Dan Sedam, a longtime friend of mine, will make sure you have an enjoyable stay!

SPECIAL NOTE: I was introduced to the Meeteetse Fishing Derby a few of years ago by my boyfriend, Patrick, and I fell in love with the great fun of this event! Friday night kicks off a wall of guns raffle with several firearms being raffled off. Saturday morning starts the derby! Be ready to get up early to set up ice huts and punch some holes on the beautiful upper Sunshine Reservoir and Sunday on the lower Sunshine! You will enjoy the competition of turning in the 3 biggest fish each day! I look forward to having you join Patrick and I for this FUN event…you won’t be disappointed. Lots of laughs and camaraderie to be had and the opportunity to show your fishing skills!
