DONATION: This is a true and exciting adventure, don’t miss the opportunity to take a Western Canadian moose with Fire Mountain Outfitters! This hunt is for 10-days, and you can also take a wolf and wolverine. Trophy fees are included.
DATES: Schedule for September 18th -28th, 2023. This hunt cannot be delayed.
ADDITIONAL HUNTERS: Welcome for $23,000.
ADDITIONAL NON-HUNTERS: Welcome for $4,500.
AMENITIES INCLUDED: Float plane charter, meals, accommodations, and trophy fees for moose, wolf and wolverine.
AMENITIES NOT INCLUDED: Shipping of trophies home, gratuities for guide and wranglers, license fee of $180 and tag fee $340.
LOCATION: Atlin, British Columbia
ACCOMMODATIONS: We use cabins & heated wall tents on all our fly in moose hunts and you can expect to enjoy home-cooked meals every day. The endless supply of firewood will keep you warm and comfortable at night or during bad weather day. Lake trout, grayling and Northern pike are plentiful at most lakes and fishing can be an entertaining addition to the hunt.
SPECIAL NOTES: This 5,000 square mile area is located on the true headwaters of the Yukon River and with great genetics, the moose here have an average spread of 55-60 inches with the occasional bull being over 60 and weighs in at 1,400 - 1,600 lbs. Record book bulls are harvested every year and the moose are plentiful, being spread throughout the entire guide area. There are numerous lakes and river systems with endless prime moose habitat giving hunters the option of either Horseback, Backpack Lake, or Riverboat-based hunts. Brandon and Rena Ponath both come from outfitting families and have been in the business for over 25 years. They live year-round within their concession and are very dedicated to every aspect of the operation. Our crew is not only energetic and hard-working, but they’re also extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the outdoors and strive to make every trip unique and fun.
