Idaho is pleased to offer the Idaho Special Bighorn Sheep Auction Tag for 2024.This tag is valid for use in all open bighorn sheep hunt areas statewide except Hunt Area 11. Idaho is home to both Rocky Mountain and California bighorn sheep herds. Boone & Crockett rams are being harvested in a variety of units throughout the state, with some of those rams grossing over 190" mark. The successful bidder will have a chance to experience sheep hunting in a multitude of landscapes ranging from the rugged Frank Church Wilderness to the highest peaks in Idaho’s Lost River Range. Thank you for bidding and for being a part of conservation projects going on in Idaho. A 5% buyer’s premium will be added to the final bid price of this special permit/tag (unless prohibited by statute.) The proceeds will be dedicated to WSF Conservation Initiatives. If the winner of this item refuses to pay the premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid.
