DONATION: Two hunters are invited to join Shane Johnston of Four Seasons Safaris New Zealand on this 5-day/4 night, 2x1 guided hunt for red stag up to 400”. In addition, each hunter is allocated a $1,000 credit towards the fees of a tahr or chamois. Transportation during the stag hunt is 4x4 side by side and access to hunt the tahr and chamois in the alps is by helicopter.

DATES: Schedule this hunt to the scenic South Island of New Zealand for open dates during March-July 2024/2025/2026.

AMENITIES INCLUDED: Two hunters hunting together 2x1 with one guide, hunting a red stag up to 400” for each hunter, with a further $1,000 credit towards each hunter’s choice of either tahr or chamois.

AMENITIES NOT INCLUDED: Airfare to/from Christchurch NZ, accommodations before/after the hunt, additional trophy fees on hunters’ choice of tahr or chamois, helicopter fees, firearm permits/rental, resort accommodations required for tahr/chamois ($450 twin/double shared room a night, 1-2 nights required) dip & pack service & gratuities.

LOCATION: Arrival/departure point is Christchurch, South Island New Zealand. Your red stag hunt will take place on one of the most spectacular private game estates in all New Zealand– “Backridge Estate” owned by Four Seasons. It is here you will hunt red stag, with also an opportunity should you choose to hunt, elk, white stag, fallow, ram, alpine goat, chamois and wild boar. Hunting is spot and stalk in lush native timber, open grassy meadows overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Kaikoura Peninsula, and the Seaward Mountains.

ACCOMMODATIONS: In the heart of stag hunting area, comfortable ranch house on Backridge estate, for the tahr and chamois hunt accommodations at the base of the alps at Terrace Downs Resort.
