DONATION:
This painting on a 24”x12” bark edge wood plank depicts a young girl who just successfully harvested a beautiful ram.
The sunset and stunning mountain scenery are just a secondary reward for all her hard work and perseverance.
The fruits of her labor; resting by her prize and feeling the sunshine on her face after a long and enduring pursuit.
SPECIAL NOTE:
Lizzy Braaten is a resilient individual who embraces life’s opportunities to the fullest.
Despite becoming a quadriplegic after a trolley train accident, Lizzy continues to live with purpose and adventure.
She has cherished the chance to go hunting after her injury, successfully harvesting a mule deer with her adapted crossbow and an antelope with the Nevada Outdoorsman In Wheelchairs.
Although she can’t use her hands, Lizzy enjoys the challenge of painting masterpieces such as this one, showcasing her creativity and determination.
Lizzy draws parallels between her journey and the challenges of the hunt, finding joy in both the pursuit and the mountaintop moments.
