Wyoming Game and Fish Commissioner Ashlee Lundvall generously provided Wyoming Wildlife Federation (WWF) with a 2025 WGFD Commissioner’s license for elk, mule deer, or pronghorn (buyer’s choice).
WWF was established in 1937 and is the oldest and largest sportsmen’s advocacy and conservation organization in the state of Wyoming. WWF actively implements habitat projects across the state. Our staff members directly engage in policy work, legislative sessions, and commissioner meetings.
WWF serves to educate the next generation of conservationists from youth to adulthood, and from field to the capitol floor. The Federation does so through summer camps, school programs, hunter safety, and adult education programs, like Camo at the Capitol and the all-women’s Hunter Safety and Conservation Course, More than Gatherers.
Purchasing this tag will support Wyoming Wildlife Federation and the More than Gatherers program, an immersive experience for new conservationists in the holistic approach to and reciprocity of hunting. Women receive hands-on experience learning various new skills and in topics relevant to hunting and conservation. The course is taught by a cadre of sportswomen from across the country.
Purchase of this commissioner tag will ensure that More than Gatherers continues to create a lasting impact within the hunting community, as well as facilitate the growth of this program.
Purchaser is responsible for either resident or non-resident license fees, depending on species selected. This license is independent of WGFD license draw and WGFD preference points. Purchaser selects the species to be hunted, then either a general license (for elk or deer) or a limited-entry hunt area/license type (elk, deer or pronghorn). Once notified by WSF of the purchaser’s contact information, WGFD License Section provides an affidavit to be returned by the purchaser to WGFD specifying the hunter, species to be hunted, and choice of General vs. Limited Quota Hunt Area/License Type. Once a hunter’s name is specified on the affidavit, the license is NOT transferable. Any individual eligible to hunt in Wyoming may purchase this license.
