The Rocky Mountain Goat Alliance is proud to bring the 2025 Colorado Statewide Mountain Goat license to the auction stage at Sheep Show.
Colorado is known for exceptional alpine landscapes and some of the healthiest mountain goat populations in the western United States.
This is your opportunity to get the chance to harvest a mature trophy goat indicative of iconic alpine habitat.
The winner of this tag will have the opportunity to pursue a nanny or billy for approximately a four-month time frame.
Auction license holders have the option of hunting in any open unit, from when units open in September through December in pursuit of North America’s most striking alpine species.
Participating in this amazing Colorado mountain goat hunt opportunity also helps support the conservation efforts of the Rocky Mountain Goat Alliance (www.goatalliance.org) and Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
Your bid today contributes to RMGA’s work in Citizen Science, Education, and Conservation Grants and results in updated research data, healthy goat populations, and informed hunters.

The purchaser of this tag will be able to hunt any Colorado unit with a mountain goat season and with any legal method of take, as well as have the added benefit of a closing date of December 31, 2025.
The season start dates are unit and weapon specific, but most seasons finish around the first week of October.
The winner of this tag will be allowed to hunt after all other seasons have closed and may be the only goat hunter in the field.
Guiding/Outfitting is not included with the purchase of this tag.
The tag cannot be bartered or sold to another person.
Successful bidder must be eligible to hunt in the State of Colorado.
