How do you quantify a lifetime of commitment to wildlife and conservation?
By consistent steadfast participation and significant financial support, that is what Ron Lurie exhibited year in and year out.

As to what type of wildlife he positively affected.
That was shown in his love of Nevada’s bighorn sheep, where he volunteered and participated in numerous guzzlers and, trap and transplant projects for the bighorn sheep in southern Nevada.
In addition, for a variety of other conservation groups, he supported their banquets and fundraising activities as very few others have over the years.
Ron had the unique ability to get non-sportsman engaged and participating in these wildlife events as well.
He wanted others to realize the importance of these organizations in both the conservation and proliferation of Nevada’s wildlife.

In true Ron style he left this Remington Reproduction to the Fraternity of the desert sheep to help raise money for conservation.
His legacy will live on!
