2026 Nevada Pronghorn Antelope Heritage Tag

Any pronghorn antelope, in any unit with an open pronghorn antelope season.
Season August 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity at a record book pronghorn antelope.
Long season dates to hunt the entire state in search of the trophy of your dreams.
Nevada’s antelope population was estimated at approximately 36,000 animals in 2025 representing an increase of 10% from the previous year.
Harvest data shows an increasing trend in animals with horn lengths over 15 inches in several units throughout the state.
In the past several years, Nevada has received above average precipitation across much of the state and especially in some prime antelope habitat.
Horn growth is expected to continue to improve for the 2026 season.

Several hunt units in Elko County including 076,077 079, 081, 091, and Unit 051 in Humboldt County have been especially productive for trophy quality during the 2025 season.
Hunting the high desert of the Great Basin for “speed goats” is an addicting adventure you won’t forget.
