Four fortunate hunters are invited to embark on the hunting adventure of a lifetime with Shane Johnston of Four Seasons Safaris New Zealand.
This extraordinary 5-day guided expedition features world-class pursuits for red stag up to 400”, tahr, chamois, all set amidst some of the most breathtaking landscapes anywhere on Earth.
Hunters may use rifle, bow, or muzzleloader.
This hunt can be upgraded to pursue even larger stags or additional species.

DATES:
This hunt is available for open dates March - August 2026 only and may be upgraded by adding days or other available species at the current price list.

AMENITIES INCLUDED:
Trophy fees for 1 red stag up to 400” for each hunter x4, Trophy fees for 1× tahr each for 2 hunters, Trophy fees for 1× chamois each for 2 hunters, professional guiding, 4 nights of luxury lodge accommodations, delicious cuisine, beverages, and exclusive beachside dining experience.

AMENITIES NOT INCLUDED:
Airfare to/from Christchurch, before/after hunt accommodations, additional species hunted, upgrades to larger stags, firearm permits/rentals, helicopter fees for tahr and chamois drop off hunts ($2,850hr), taxidermy/expediting, dip-pack service, and gratuities.

Arrival/departure point is Christchurch, South Island New Zealand. Your red stag hunt will take place on one of the most spectacular private game estates in all New Zealand - “Backridge Estate”.
