The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs (CTWS) is pleased to announce the 2026 California bighorn sheep auction permit.
This permit represents a lifetime opportunity for hunters to pursue game across nearly 200,000 acres of scenic sheep habitat.
The vast area offers an exceptional environment for an unforgettable hunting experience.

Proceeds from the auction permit will directly benefit the Tribes Branch of Natural Resources by supporting wildlife management and conservation initiatives.
These funds will be utilized for habitat improvement projects, ensuring the sustainability of these resources for future generations.

The successful bidder for the 2026 California bighorn sheep auction permit will gain the unique privilege to hunt any California bighorn ram within the designated hunting area.
The hunt can be scheduled at any time between August 1, 2026, and November 31, 2026.

Tribal guide services are included with the price of the hunt.
Hunters may choose an outfitter to provide a camp, at their own expense, provided the outfitter collaborates with Tribal guides.
The Tribes have a preferred outfitter that can be recommended.
All hunters are required to follow the rules and regulations specified in the CTWS hunting regulations.
This ensures that hunting activities align with Tribal traditions and practices.

A 5% buyer’s premium will be added to the final bid price of this special permit/tag (unless prohibited by statute.) The proceeds will be dedicated to WSF Conservation Initiatives.
If the winner of this item refuses to pay the premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid
